Tips on how to Update Firmware on Android JXD S5110 Device

Want to upgrade Android JXD S5110 Firmware? This time we get a tutorial how to to update firmware on Android JXD S5110 but Before Upgrade do the following tips
  1. Backup your data would like to save to another medium, like aTF-card. Throughout the update process, almost all data on the system is going to be cleaned.
  2. After that please Copy and extract the downloaded firmware of S5110 to the root directory of your TF-card.

If you're feeling confident with your backup data then follow the instructions below

1. First step please connected to the 5V 500mA Power plug.
2. In the power-off state, hold the Menu button while pushing the Power button to turn on the device. "Update update.zip" will be displayed. Wait for an selection to be shown.
3. Enter into the menu when pop up the Android interface, you can control it by the direction button and the volume button to choose.
  • Select wipe data/factory reset and press Back button to complete it.
  • Select Yes-delete all user date and press Back button to complete it.
  • Select wipe cache partition and press Back button to complete it.
  • Select wipe media partition and press Back button to complete it.
  • Select yes--delete all user date and press Back button in order to complete it.

4.  Select apply update from SDcard,  and after that put the TF-card with the firmware of S5110. Then choose update. zip and press Back button to verify and wait for a complete of update.
5.  Select restart system now and press Back button to be sure of.
6.  The device reboot or restart automatically after which calibrate the touchscreen
End enjoy game and multimedia with latest firmware of Android JXD S5110 and for now we are still looking at how to put android Jelly Bean 4.1 OS on JXD S5110 tablet
